Running

I have been running since the 4th grade, we would run laps around the track for a mid-morning break. I ran all track all four years of high school and cross-country for the last three. I learned to tolerate long distance running but my life long love will always be sprinting.

Biking

My husband is an avid biker and has gotten me into the sport as well. There are lots of fun trails around Cedar City, and its a great way to exercise when I am recovering from running. It has its ups and downs but I always get back on the bike when I fall off.  

Painting

I love water colors. In my opinion they are the best painting media there is. I love the way the pictures turn out and the paint doesn't stink up my house like oil paints do. 

My favorite thing to paint is landscapes. I think Utah has some of the most beautiful vistas and I love the challenge of trying to capture them onto paper.
